Over the last month alone Franciscan Charities gave the gift of warmth to nearly 1000 of our neighbors during our coat drive, shared our gratitude with hundreds by providing turkeys for Thanksgiving, delivered the gift of Christmas joy to a thousand children at our toy drive, and distributed over 850 toiletry and gift bags (generously donated to us by the folks at Holiday Express). That’s in addition to the hot meals and food-to-go bags we regularly serve, and the hundreds of diapers we provide for the littlest of our neighbors - five days a week.
All of that is made possible through the generosity of our donors, the hard work of our volunteers and the tireless efforts of our staff and board members who constantly show up for our neighbors in need. You are too numerous to mention in one post, but Franciscan Charities is grateful beyond words for your help in making our home a bright spot in the community.
