“A Fresh Start”

Brother Paul’s Corner

Dear Friends of Franciscan Charities,

Peace be with you.

As the holiday season approaches most people are focused on family and friends, and that is as it should be. However, there are many people who are suffering who need our help. People without food, clothing and medical assistance who rely upon the generosity of others for the basics of existence. While some of these people can get help through established social service agencies, many cannot. Some are not even able to obtain shelter because of their legal status.

This holiday season, won’t you consider providing comfort and support to those in need. You can do this in a variety of ways. Provide financial support to organizations dedicated to the needy. Volunteer to be part of the direct support of those in need. Pray for the many who are desperate.

May God continue to bless you and your family during the joyous season.

Pax et bonum.

Brother Paul
