The season of giving is upon us!
For the folks we see on our food lines and through our outreach – the vulnerable and underserved in Newark – the holidays are often sparse. A warm coat, a special meal or one new toy or gift can be a treasure.
As you begin your holiday preparations or think through your year-end giving, please consider helping us spread joy and warmth this holiday season. There are so many ways to do so!
Donate to our Coat Drive. We’re busy collecting and sorting winter gear to distribute to our needy neighbors on November 20. Did you know that last year we provided more than a thousand coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and socks to our neighbors!! Simply click on our website donate buttons to help clothe our families.
Participate in Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity that will take place on November 30. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for opportunities to give on that special day.
Donate to our Toy Drive. Always a highlight of our year, our children’s holiday celebration, with plenty of snacks and toys, will be held on December 11. And yes, you know who is coming!! Ho, Ho, Ho! Click here or on the Toy Drive button on our home page to donate.
